And while the Chargers’ QB situation couldn’t be any clearer…their division rivals in Denver have a legit, all-out QB competition on their hands between Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson. While it was assumed Bo Nix would have a clear path, there have been rumors for weeks about Wilson looking good and having a legit shot to start. We hadn’t really heard their head coach weigh in though until yesterday afternoon.

And while it may shock some people given that Bo was a 1st round pick…I truly believe that Coach will go with whoever gives them the best shot to win NOW. He does not punt on seasons – in 16 years as a head coach he’s never won FEWER than 7 games – so this job is going to have to be earned.

And that’s why I won’t just dismiss Zach Wilson as a candidate here.
