How to Set Up the Testo 557s Smart Digital Manifold Kit

Carry out measurements on refrigeration, air conditioning systems, and heat pumps quickly and easily with this rugged manifold which features a four-way valve block. Additionally, the large display shows all the results at a glance and the kit comes equipped with the Smart digital manifold, 2 x wireless temperature probes, a wireless vacuum Smart probe, quick start guides, a calibration certificate, and a carrying case. Measurements can be monitored, recording, and exported using the Smart app.

How to set up:

1. Turn the instrument on by removing the strap in the back.
2. Select the language when prompted on the screen.
3. Scan the QR code on the screen to download the Testo Smart App.
4. Press Start on the instrument and set device aside.
5. Turn the probes on by removing the straps. Allow time for the probes to connect to the instrument.
6. Navigating to Measuring Mode on the instrument and set target lines (Evacuation and Maximum Decay). The temperature probes are now ready for measurement.
7. To connect 552i vacuum smart probe, go back to the menu on the instrument.
8. Unscrew the bottom of the vacuum probe to reveal the battery compartment.
9. Remove the strap from the battery to turn the probe on, and insert the battery compartment back. The probe is now ready for vacuum measurement.
