We crossed the Sarawak River to explore Kampung Boyan. This historical village is most known for its unique Kek Lapis (Layered Cake) and Ikan Terubok (Salted Fish). The village has many old traditional Malay houses, an abandoned school and the century old Fort Margherita. We explored the hidden trails in this kampung, used a Bow and Arrow and traversed through the Botanical Park.

To get to Kampung Boyan, you will have to take a river taxi (Sampan) across the Sarawak River.
