Shadow Climate Change and Energy Minister Ted O’Brien says Labor MP Chris Bowen is “factually wrong” on his comments over Germany and Italy’s nuclear power draw.

“What we have seen from Chris Bowen today is a mix of distortion of the truth and deflection,” he said.

“A big point he has sought to make this week has been Germany and Italy do not use nuclear energy but in fact he is wrong, in fact they do.”
