This video is a great resource for anyone who wants to build their own exterior door. Let me walk you through the entire process, from selecting the right wood to installing the finished door. This is my version of a door recently completed by ‪@BlackForestWoodCo‬ .

In the video, I'll share some of the challenges I faced during the build, such as keeping the door stable and finding the right way to join the pieces together. I also offer some tips and tricks, such as using a jig to create the hinge mortices.

I think the finished door looks amazing. If you're up for the challenge, building your own exterior door is a great way to save money (versus buying a similar quality custom door) and create a one-of-a-kind piece for your home.
