HOW TO RE-APPLY SEALANT AROUND YOUR KITCHEN SINK

Water can leak around your kitchen sink and damage the cabinets underneath. This is how to fix it for just MYR30 worth of equipment

You will need: a caulk or sealant gun, waterproof silicone sealant (I used white colour), a pen knife, a spray bottle with soapy water

Scrape away the old sealant
Make sure the area is clean and dry before applying
Cut the applicator spout at 45 deg angle
Cut the sealant tube opening
Load the caulk gun
Press the latch and slide the plunger back
Load the sealant tube
Apply sealant evenly
Spray some soapy water
Wipe away extra sealant with an ice-cream stick
Leave to cure and dry for up to 24 hours
