Seaside Inn B&B, near West Bay Beach, is a great alternative for couples and solo travellers who want to stay in a peaceful setting with lush gardens and forest. The Seaside Inn B&B is a 5-minute walk from Beacher’s Restaurant on Roatan’s West Bay Beach. (Note: this video is not sponsored by the B&B, my intent is to share helpful information.)
Guests have access to the outdoor kitchen; laundry facilities; cool-off pool. Full, amazing breakfasts are served by friendly, helpful staff. Guests share the large outdoor seating area on the main terrace. The rooms and terrace are non-smoking. As a solo traveller and first-time visitor to Roatan, the B&B offered me a safe, easy way to get to know the island. I stayed in a studio with kitchenette, on the ground level. I would have liked to have a private outdoor sitting area. The other downside was walking in the dark, along the road to get to the beach restaurants and bars. The road is bumpy with pot-holes, so a flashlight (provided) is essential. Overall, it was a great experience, close to the beach and yet, a peaceful setting in the forest. We could hear the macaws in the trees. #nancysolotrips
