This video isn't about batteries & it isn't about having to buy another charger, it's about the Makita jointer itself, I only mention batteries to explain why I bought the Makita in the first place..
This is a short explanation of why I bought one just after the other, it maybe a trivial reason & I'm sure the Makita DPJ180 is a perfectly fine machine but the fence was a little annoying, once removed to do plunge cuts the depth setting is lost. On site I want minimal messing around with tools to make them work, in a workshop taking that fence off might be fine but on site I'd loose it & honestly I just don't have the patience. The Dewalt is a 'one piece' machine, no need to remove anything to do all that the Makita does & it actually feels better in he hand.. to me anyway.
