Fan favorite Jim Beaver (SUPERNATURAL) lived with Old Mose from THE SEARCHERS (Hank Worden) when he first moved to LA. He made two GUNSMOKE movies with James Arness and created the cult character, "Whitney Ellsworth," a gruff prospector on HBO's DEADWOOD, named after THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN producer. Beaver's a film buff, too, has written several books about Hollywood icons and wrote a regular column for "Films in Review." At The Autry Museum cafe he shared western movie stories of working on set with acting legends and of auditioning for his foul-mouthed character in DEADWOOD. To join in memories of his road to success, check out Jim's laugh filled 2014 conversation in this extended, re-edited episodes, edition of A WORD ON WESTERNS.
