After realizing my front door was looking little tired, painted in a dull crimson-ish mauve, I decided to give it a makeover just in time for fall porch decorating!

I had three ideas, so I KNEW it would be an evolving process. The first idea was to paint the door black--TRICORN BLACK--with the side panels and all the trim painted white (Origami White to match the existing trim).

The next idea was to paint the trim white but do the door and both side panels in black.

The third and final idea was to paint the entire thing (trim, doors, panels) all black.

This project ended up spanning a few days due to our busy schedule, but it really didn't take much time at all!

I have plans for a wreath I want to make. Stay tuned! For now, I love pulling into my driveway and checking out my door's new look.
