In this video I use Purple Heart and Oak to make a segmented brick Torus, I finished it with a couple of coats of Danish oil, I will now let it sit for a couple of weeks to let the wood settle before sanding it back and applying the final coats..
When I try anything like this I'm always inspired by the amazing segmented work by Malcolm Tibbets, well worth checking him out ..
