Bolivia Coup: General Who Vowed to "Re-Establish" Democracy, Arrested | Firstpost America

Armoured vehicles rammed the doors of Bolivia's Presidential Palace in an apparent coup attempt. However, Bolivian President Luis Arce vowed to stand firm and named a new army commander who ordered troops to stand down. The Bolivian General who appeared to be behind the rebellion was arrested and an investigation has been opened. But in a twist, the arrested general claimed that the President himself told him to storm the palace in a political move.
