Mahodand Lake swat is the most famous tourist destination in swat valley located at 36 Kilometers from Kalam swat through Usho forest route.
It can be only accessed through 4X4 vehicle or jeep due to rough route.
Recently I visited this place through Jeep with my family members and guests . The route to Mahodand lake is under construction and most of the part is completed and out of danger but still some part of the route is in river which has large size rocks and stone which can damage your car that's why I recommend you to travel by jeep only otherwise your car may be damaged .
The fare to Mahodand lake from Kalam is almost 8 to 9 Thousand PKR for both sides which is very reasonable.
Travelling Mahodand lake is the best choice for both local and international tourists.
The weather is very cold and cold wind is blowing continuously that's why take warm clothes or jacket , shawl and cap with yourselves.
If you are fond of taking milky tea then Take enough sweets and pure milk with your selves because pure milk is not available there .
