Behind the video :
Irish Poitín (Moonshine) was outlawed in the 1600s and recently, legal versions of the drink have come on the market. These vary in strength up to 60%. Illegal Poitín (pronounced Potcheen) could be up to 90% strength and was made using potato skins.
'Poit' is the Irish word for hangover, so 'Poitín' in Irish means 'little hangover'.
