Lindsay Russell is a self-taught epoxy artist, woodworker and an OG of epoxy oceans. Since early 2017, through experimentation, Lindsay was one of the first to develop and refine the ocean epoxy technique that has since become a trend in the art and woodworking world. Not only does Lindsay love inspiring others to find their own style and creativity when it comes to woodworking and epoxy art, but she has also taught thousands of artists, woodworkers and students how to work with epoxy.

Using epoxy, Lindsay hand-paints layers of pigmented epoxy onto her boards to create a realistic, multi-dimensional shoreline that cascades over them. Most of Lindsay's inspiration comes from the area where she lives, southern Georgian Bay.

Surrounded by hardwood forests and the rocky, granite shorelines of Georgian Bay, the area flaunts an incredible palette of warm earthy tones, brilliant blues and an incredible display of colour in the fall.
