A lot of people define compost and the practice of composting differently. Albert Risemberg has been composting in his backyard food forest for many years and just to journey through it is to feel the results. The improved soil of his forest garden and his nursery plants is evident in the air and in the plants!

I sat down with Albert to talk about his views on ecological cycles and urban farming and had this wonderful conversation about some excellent composting techniques and guidelines that he has discovered.
