Hello everyone and thank you for coming here to watch this episode!
We are building the companionway sliding hatch and cutting portholes in our cabin.
We discuss the design options for the hatch and debate the height and camber.
After building the foundation of the hatch we cut the portholes. Pretty scary stuff to make these holes but they end up looking just amazing. Lastly we laminate pieces of plywood on a camber jig to start the sliding hatch top build.
Let us know what you think!
We thank you all, without your engagement on these videos we wouldn't be able to create them!
As always we hope you enjoy the episode and if you are interested in more content and more discussions about our project, check out our Patreon page, it's free!
