To balance out the new bedroom furniture I've created in my previous videos, I really needed something for the foot of the bed. I designed a little bench that will definitely look perfect in that space but also be a great place for me to be able to sit down and put my shoes on in the mornings. I took some inspiration from some Japanese designs and incorporated a tusked mortise and tenon joint as well as some exposed wedged mortises for accents in the bench top.
