There will be a new updated Mazda CX-5 coming. A recent leak from Mazda's Fiscal year end report has confirmed this new CX-5 will offer a hybrid powertrain that will include a Mazda developed engine.

Mazda has shown a slow commitment to adding more electrification to their lineup. The Mazda CX-50 Hybrid will be announced later this year. It will share the Toyota hybrid system with the Rav4 as seen in the Changan Mazda version in China. The new Mazda developed system could be designed to be offered in other small platform vehicles such as the Mazda CX-30 and Mazda3.

Changan Mazda also recently announced the Mazda EZ-6 rear wheel drive sedan that will be offered in China as a full battery electric vehicle (BEV) and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). This sedan has beautiful exterior design and upgraded interior technology and comfort.
