PE DESIGN 11 upgrade is finally here! In this video, I am going to give you a first look at PEDesign 11 - the layout and some cool new embroidery features that stand out to me - and are a lot of embroidery fun!!
PLEASE NOTE: I thought the stitch factory was for motif stitches...NOPE...it is for ewing stitches....

The new Stitch Factory feature IS NOT for motif stitches....they are for creating decorative stitches and exporting them directly to your embroidery machine, and you will be able to see and save the files when you go into the sewing mode ONLY. But I guess it is still kind of cool, you can combine and perfectly space out your stitches and add points and take points away. Make sure you export to a PMV file if you have anything other than a Luminere. I was able to export to my Brother Dream Machine 2 just fine, although I have the same sort of thing built right in to McDreamy.....

The next big addition that caught my attention was the quilting backgrounds that are now available. In other software, you have to complete around 7 steps in order to get the same results. PE Design 11 has taken all of these steps out - all you have to do is select the design and click on the background quilting button and then pick your background. WARNING: there are some gorgeous backgrounds to pick from! Of course you can modify the backgrounds and make them look exactly how you want.

All in all, I am happy with the newest additions and how cleanly they work. I will be doing more videos and having more machine embroidery fun with PE Design 11!
