We examine a rare study comparing the survival rates of COVID-19-vaccinated individuals versus non-vaccinated individuals after hospitalization and evaluate how the findings align with the prevailing belief that COVID-19 vaccination continues to protect against severe outcomes. Additionally, we reference an older study on animals vaccinated against SARS-1 to help interpret the results. Importantly, the study found that total IgG4 levels were less affected in vaccinated individuals than in non-vaccinated individuals.

What we cover:
*Survival of COVID-19 vaccinated vs non-vaccinated post-hospitalization
*How vaccination rates might affect survival
*How mass vaccination affected the survival of non-vaccinated
*What happened with the IgG4 levels between non-vaccinated and vaccinated
*Previous vaccination against SARS showed high mortality in animals exposed to the virus
