Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the imminent French designer, has a lovely conversation with Sarah Andelman, the founder and artistic director of Colette for ODDA 24. From Ko and Co to collaborating with Drake, Lady Gaga, Ed Banger, and Robert Mapplethorpe among other artists and the Pompidou Center, Jean-Charles talks about his childhood, his relationship with materials, as well as his story with Créateurs et Industriels which extraordinarily marked a turning point in his career. Through his multiple collaborations and his attraction to Pop Art, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac explains to ODDA how he managed to pass on his heritage to other young designers who are now brilliant and full of creativity.
