Okay so I have built this deck out of my library of cards as I do all of my decks. I don’t like using precons or building off of others decks or anything like that really. Obviously some of the same great cards are going to be all of the decks that are similar but that’s how powerful cards go. I cracked packs and opened boxes to get all of the cards I have for this deck and I’m extremely proud of it. What started as a Gruul Discover Dino deck built for 60 card formats like modern or historic or just rule zero home games was turned into a commander deck because everyone plays commander. I just started. Pantlaza wasn’t even in the original deck, I only have two of her and in 60 cards…. Splashing in the white wasn’t worth it. I had a better deck staying with green and red. I started watching YouTube videos on the format of commander and heard my friends talk about it and show me their decks and eventually I decided to try and make a commander deck of my own with my beloved dinosaur deck. After a few iterations and tweaks, pulling these cards for those cards, I finally have a commander deck I love playing and feels like the deck i original built and fell in love with. As a kid I was obsessed with dinosaurs. As an adult I’m obsessed with magic and gaming in general. This is probably the most I’ve ever expressed of myself on my YouTube which is a bit strange.
