Hi and thanks for clicking on this video! This video will show how to install a trunk spring so that you trunk will be able to fully open! Having your trunk open fully automatically makes it very convenient.

Tools Required:
Gloves
Trunk Spring
Flat Head Screw Driver (Optional)

To get started I make sure to take off the O-ring clip from the trunk spring. I also set the spring so that the bolts are somewhere near the middle of the bolt. Next is taking the O-ring clip and thread it through the arm of the trunk lid. Next is threading the trunk spring onto the O-ring. The final step is to pull the spring into one of the chassis grooves. That's it! Make sure to watch the video for all of the steps!

The car that is being worked on is a 2007 Toyota Camry SE 2.4L 4 cylinder engine. This generation of Toyota Camry is called the XV40, runs the year 2007 to 2011.
