In this video I demonstrate how to play 3 cool Van Halen intros from the Sammy Hagar catalogue/era. Today we are focusing on 3 intros from the album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, which is the 3rd album the band released with Sammy Hagar as their front man. The album is a fan favorite and features a lot of excellent riffs and songs. The guitar tone was a different yet pleasant turn for Eddie because he started using Ernie Ball Music Man signature guitars on this album, couple with Soldano amplifiers…which contributed to the development of the Peavey 5150 amplifier. In this video I cover intros and other parts of the songs Run Around, Top Of The World and Pound Cake.
