But the question on their lips this morning does not concern the Conservatives' financial legacy, but rather their potential cronyism.

The Labour leader has faced criticism after it was revealed one of the party's biggest donors had been given an ultra-rare Downing Street pass.

Starmer has said he is working to clean up politics.
