On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, Golden Gate Railroad Museum used their former Southern Pacific commute GP9E, SP 3194 to pull P-8 Pacific SP 2472 down to the NWP's maintenance yard at Schellville, CA. The purpose of this move was to position 2472 to have it's air reservoirs replaced after refurbishing. SP 3194 has a relatively rare Nathan M3 horn.

Later that day, Northwestern Pacific's Lombard Turn passes through Ramal, CA as NWP 2611 shows off it's new Nathan M5 horn. NWP 2009 leads the return trip through Buchli, CA with the P3 it's worn for years.
