I had a thought, why hasn't anyone made an Elder Wand using Elder Wood? Because it's really hard to find! So I did the next best thing... BOX ELDER!!!! This wand is made in 5 parts; the blade and handle out of turned box elder, the center section from deer antler and the three parts sit over a brass tube making the core that has a single piece of Thestral (black horse) Mane hair on this inside. This is as described in the Harry Potter series by Garrick Ollivander. This build was a lot of fun to do, I truly hope you enjoy it!!!
