Here is "I Am The Story Of Me"

I AM THE STORY OF ME:

I was born in the dark,
From the flames from a spark
Like a phoenix from fire
arose from a funeral pyre

Spent my formative years
Howling with the wolves
Hunting by instinct
Sworn to vigilance

The need to survive was greater than the reverse
So, I swam against the tide from the moment of birth

So many wounds and bruises you can’t see
I am the story of me

I’ve died a hundred times
And I’ve paid for most of my crimes
And Love left me blind
But I found a new set of eyes

I’ve flown through the sky
In the nighttime, getting high
crashed into the ground
The silence a thunderous sound

The need to survive was greater than the reverse
So, I swam against the tide from the moment of birth
And it would be a lie, if I claimed it came with ease
I’ve fought my whole life for each breathe, there was no guarantee

So many scars and bruises you can’t see
Now I am the story of me
