Building sand forts at Bolsa Chica Beach in California. We visited Bolsa Chica for a fun summer day. The day was super nice and sunny and the ocean water was perfect. We had so much fun in the sun. We also built a few sand forts. As we were building the forts, the tide kept coming in and eventually over came our sand fort. So we started to build again higher in the sand. As we finished the tide came in again. But this time we build the sand fort stronger with seaweed. We collected seaweed and put it around the outside sand walls. So when the water came in, the seaweed would help support the walls. It worked. Our last sand fort stood up the the tide and waves. Bolsa Chica Beach is in Orange County California.
