A composition of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj which depicts the philosophy of true selfless love towards God. This poem is based on Mahaprabhu Chaitanya's Shikshashtak shloka "ashlishya va padratam pinashtu mam...". Brief meaning given below:

pranadhan jeevan kunj bihari
(O Kunj Bihari! You are the wealth of my life)

tum to rahe sanatan hamare, haun hun rahi tihari
(You have eternally been mine and I am eternally yours)

ura lagai bhuja bhari hari chahe, puravahu aas hamari
(Whether you fulfil my desire by taking me in Your arms and embracing me closely..)

chahe mohin tadapai mori mukh, paga thukrau murari
(..or turn away from me showing indifference (thus tormenting me) or whether you kick me away as though renouncing me)

jehi vidhi piya sukh pau kariya soi, mo kahan soi sukh bhari
(But O Lord, Your pleasure and Your desire will always be mine too)

yaha 'kripalu' hai reeti preeti ki, nija sukha chaha vyapari
(Shri Kripalu Ji says "This is in fact the proper way to love. Love which seeks one's own happiness is not love, but mere business")
