Despite a hazy day and disappearing sunlight - new RAF TYPHOON display pilot Matthew Brighty showed us what an exciting display he has designed for the 2023 airshow season in the UK.

With it's dazzling paint scheme - Typhoon Blackjack tears through the sky at amazing speed with fabulous breakaway turns away from the crowd, slow speed handling turns, formation flying with the WWII Lancaster, and for the first time (for the RAF Typhoon) a slow roll pass.
Another stunning feature is the diving knife-edge pass, and the divebombing slow rolls which always look great on video.
A very very nice display!
This show was part of the Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend, which had a good ground show with marching pipe bands, trade stalls and almost everything you could want - but the flying display was decimated by no-shows, and it was left to only a couple of acts to spice it up. #phoontime
