On August 15th 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer: Grade 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

In preparation for starting chemotherapy I have had a port-a-cath fitted in my chest for administering the drugs, as well as undergoing IVF treatment for 'egg preservation'.

Due to being unwell, my chemo was postponed by a week to give me chance to recover.
