The gorgeous boho town of Kalk Bay is a sightseer's must when visiting Cape Town. With its vibrant culture and modern hippie chic, it offers a wide variety for foods and a platform for where festivals come to life.

We ate at one of Cape Town's oldest fish and chips shops today: Kalky's. It's unique for its blue water habour location and fresh fish in a quaint rustic setting. Here's where you'll find the local's in town!

Jon had the kob and chip special for ZAR/ R85 (or USD/ $ 6) and I had the massive kob head (full of meat!) and chips for ZAR/ R35! (or USD/ $ 2).
After the bellies were full, we strolled the promenade, and simply sit down on the rocks (with a chocolate brownie from Olympia Bakery in the town) and enjoyed the seaspray and sun.
