One of the most recognizable musical themes of the film industry over the past 14 years is, of course, the title theme of Game of Thrones. The Emmy Award and 2 Grammy Awards are a weighty confirmation of this.

According to composer Ramin Djawadi, he wanted people, even being across the wall from the TV, to hear the theme and say: «Oh! My series is starting, I'm going to watch it».

Djawadi is convinced that the theme should have a character and a memorable motif, and the music should "stick" and stay in his head, which is the goal Djawadi sets for himself every time he sits down for a new TV project.

Djawadi calls the search for his own style an important component of success: guitar, ethnicity, love for cowboys and a desire to experiment — these four elements helped the composer gain the status of a top composer and the first musician of American TV.
