A significant amount of ammunition was stored in the warehouses of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Federation in the Tver region, which were attacked by Ukraine that night.

Director of the Ukrainian information and consulting company Defense Express, Sergei Zgurets, noted on the air of the Espresso TV channel that this attack is a continuation of the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to destroy the reserves of the occupation army.

"This is the settlement of Toropets, where the warehouses of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Federation are located. This is a fairly large facility. If you look at satellite images, at least 60-70 storage facilities stood next to each other behind a fence and were fairly well maintained. That is, this is an important arsenal, where, according to various estimates, up to 30 thousand different types of ammunition were stored," the expert said.

He added that all the warehouses had detonated, as FARMS satellite images show a significant number of flashes across the entire area of the arsenal. According to Zgurts, ammunition for the 122 mm Grad system, a significant number of 82 mm mortar rounds and small arms ammunition were preliminarily stored there.

"I hope that there were also stockpiles of missiles for anti-aircraft missile systems of various types. Experts draw such conclusions based on the type of detonations, which sometimes resemble fireworks. This is a truly powerful blow to Russian stockpiles. The distance from Ukrainian territory is approximately 500-600 kilometers. The strikes were carried out using our drones. These are systemic measures that affect the limitation of the enemy's capabilities," the director of Defense Express concluded.

Recall, on the night of September 18, the city of Toropets in the Tver region of Russia was attacked by drones. Due to a significant fire and detonation, the local population was evacuated to a neighboring city.

The National Security and Defense Council stated that the Russians were storing five types of different missiles at the affected warehouses.

"The Russians stored Grad, S-300 and S-400 missiles, as well as manufactured Iskander ballistic missiles, and began to create a stockpile of North Korean KN-23s," said Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation. According to sources in the Ukrainian İntelligence, the warehouse contained missiles intended for the Iskander operational-tactical missile systems, the Tochka-U tactical missile systems, KABs and artillery ammunition.
