This webinar is about Carl's latest book Alfie & Me - What Owls Know, What Humans Believe. This is a moving account of raising, then freeing, an orphaned screech owl, whose lasting friendship with Carl and his wife illuminates humanity’s relationship with the world.

He is the founding president of the Safina Center, and is the inaugural holder of the Carl Safina Endowed Chair for Nature and Humanity at Stony Brook University.
