The unchecked loss of public funds through corruption has a direct negative effect on public
service delivery: repeatedly, funds intended for public services like healthcare, education,
security and housing are fraudulently lost, creating a significant gap in public service delivery. Most Kenyans are left without access to these services, and often in situations that violate their Human Rights, e.g. the Right to social security, the Right to food and shelter, and constitutional Rights to Freedom & Security of the person to a clean and healthy environment, etc.
