Welcome back to the game! The gang is part of an epic quest across the north of the Realm to close the Void forever before a nefarious cult rips it to smithereens, and the horrific creatures from beyond overrun the world. Endgame is getting tantalizingly close.

Tonight's Dungeons & Dragons game in the fantasy Realm of Beardsgaard starts out in a spider nursery, and ends up in the last settlement on the edge of the world.

Our heroes are picking up allies for the great battle that is coming, from the residents of the gothic survivalist village of Eglan, to the dragon in the mountain over yonder, to what they hope will be at least one of the giant spider gods that live in Ungol Forest.

The first ally they pick up this episode, though, is a face familiar to channel viewers from the Hearthstone One Shot episode, Justin as Varsk! When we last met this character, he was a young Halfling searching for an artifact that would help him protect his aging father.

Of course, that was 60-something years ago in game time, which means Varsk is a very old Halfling with mere decades left to live, and while his father is also technically old, he's an elven Giant who is only middle aged for his species.

Join us for a night of gathering both heebie jeebies and allies, as well as, for some reason, talks of spoots and mayo. You'll see.
