This is a tiny intricate wood turned spindle or finial that was turned out in the wood shop. The same technique is used when turning wood bowls on a lathe. This project took a walnut block, a sharp bowl gouge, corner clamping chuck, JET woodturning lathe, and some practice. Making Christmas ornaments is a lot of fun. The tip of this ornament comes to a point and is very delicate. Handle these gifts with care!
