Crossing 2 types of corn is very easy to do. In this video I will show you how to control which type of corn gets crossed, and which type of corn doesn't. In the example I show is this video, I'm crossing an ornamental flint corn with an ornamental popcorn.
I planted both types of corn together, but I only wanted to cross one of them, and not the other. With just a tiny bit of work, it's very easy to make a controlled cross of two types of corn. It's so easy to do that I'm guessing this video will inspire a few people to give it a try.
Not only do I show you how to do a controlled cross pollination of only one of the two types, but I will also show you the corn that I harvested and talk a little about the results.
If you've ever made an intentional corn cross, let us know about it down in the comments.
