   • Part 8.5 - UPDATED INFORMATION: Multi...

In this episode, Casio Chaos Theory dives deep into the built in Easy & the Multi-track recording section. We explore how to use both of them to quickly record what you play, and also how to build a multi-track recording. Also covered is the saving a recording in both Casio's proprietary file format and the more conventional MIDI file format, and discovering limitations when saving as a MIDI file. Also examined is how to import a MIDI file previously exported by the CT-S1000V, and then importing it into a DAW, along with the limitations uncovered during this process.

All raw audio from the CT-S1000V recorded directly from its line-out sockets into a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD sound interface, and then directly into a DAW (Mixcraft Pro Studio 9). No VSTs/ effects were used on the CT-S1000V raw audio, other than a Limiter to prevent any clipping.
