Girls race at 29:03. Coolest visual is at 4:39 moving on the walkway. Dylan the King took the lead at 13:13 (800m to go) but Justin the Nomad from Nevada made a move at 14:20 (200m to go) for the crown.

The Boys' race by far was the most exciting of filming cross country races for me in 3 years of bikecam filming. This was because of so many of the changes in the leaders!
This type of shot cannot be done without the bikecam. The runners know this. May be this is why parents keep hearing the cheers for "PoMan". Of course I’m grateful for all the cheering … that’s what motivates me to continue to push the boundary of what is possible … just like you everyday in XC.

Note that you can do this with a go-pro (or iphone) mounted to the back of an ebike but who wants to view the world with fisheye perspective?

Note that the flashes (from dark to light and back) were the result of my lens being damaged by all the constant vibrations and shocks of filming on this course. Lesson: don't use Zeiss lenses (the 55mm Zeiss F1.8) as they are not workhorses, more like prima donna.
