No Citizenship Rights for Chakma Buddhist and Hajong Hindus under Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 🥺 |

If Any Hindus, Sikhs, Parsi, Christian, Buddhist came to India before 31st December 2014 will be given Citizenship under CAA. Buddhist Chakmas and Hindu Hajong came to Arunachal Pradesh, India ( in 1964,almost 60 years before) but despite of unambiguous Historical Judgements of Supreme Court ( NHRC vs State of Arunachal Pradesh 1996 and CCRC of AP vs State of Arunachal Pradesh 2015) in favour of Chakma Hajong of Arunachal Pradesh to protect their life and personal liberty and also to grant citizenship they're excluded from this benefits and Act.

Section 3 (4) Nothing in this section shall apply to tribal area of Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram or Tripura as included in the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution and the area covered under "The Inner Line" notified under the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation, 1873. Arunachal Pradesh come under BEFR Act, therefore no citizenship to most oldest Hindu Hajong and Buddhist Chakmas of Arunachal Pradesh 🥲 .

IT WOULD BE GOOD IF CHAKMA HAJONG WERE BENEFITED UNDER THIS ACT #CAA
