A couple of weeks ago, just for fun, I made a post of myself playing drums in the style of Danny Carey of a few Metallica songs. I didn’t think much of it at the time. Well…
I logged in to my social media accounts and found that video had 250K views across my accounts and 15k people decided to hit “like”. amongst the hundreds of comments two theme arose: 1- a lot of people hated me for it & 2 - the overwhelming majority of people loved it and wanted to hear some longer takes & different songs.

So who am I to deny the people what they want?

“For Whom The Bell Tolls” & “One” seemed to be the songs that folks most connected with (along with “Orion”). I figured given the fact that “One” is Lars’s most iconic drum part, that I would start there.
