Here is our very first episode of in the loop podcast! Today we are covering the drama between tiktokers Sophia La Corte and Halley Kate.
Halley: Tiktok babe from NYC. 23 years old (almost same age as me!) She does GRWM and vloggy stuff. 1 million on Tiktok
Splitsville Halley and Reed breakup: November 2023. After 1 year of dating. She made several videos about the split, sharing that Reed broke up with her and it was unexpected. Someone even offered to pay her rent because of it and she took it???

Mini controversy: People were annoyed her rent is $7000!!! She ended up giving away two $500 visa gift cards to soothe them.

Sophia: Also a Tiktok babe from NYC but she is also an actress. She is 22 years old and she had 700K (less than Halley oop) at the time. She posts fun, party-girl content, lifestyle videos, and lipsyncs. Very gossip girl lifestyle

Halley starts this off!: She starts posting cryptic tiktoks lipsyncing to Karma by Taylor swift pointing at the camera. She seems upset. She really emphasizes KARMA IS MY BOYFRIEND.

The leak started on Reddit and Halley confirmed in comments: The proof was minimal as it was just a post on a snark reddit (not super reliable) but Halley and Jaz unfollowed Sophia. Halley also confirmed in TikTok comments, writing, “No this is the tea: she was standing with me as i texted my ex and went through my following & DM him asking him on a date. Gross on both of them😃.” she also said “​​the worst person I’ve ever met in my life!! Imagine standing next to me while I’m texting my ex asking how he is doing and DMing him that same night😃”.

Wishes it was never online. Be so fr: Plz dont send hate but she kinda made it bigger than it needed to be. No one was paying mind to little snark reddit comments and small tea tiktoks. She made a mountain out of this mole hill. I didn’t want this online? Then why make posts and petty comments. Obviously she was upset and wanted to vent and thats valid.

Not a girls girl!: Jan 25 2024 Sophia did a podcast with Brad Mondo and they both felt the situation was a bit silly and blown out of proportion 12:12. Says shes only met her 3 times.

They are so back!: Halley and Reed got back together around April. So why is all this beef coming up now in August?? Well they asked this question in a since deleted ep of their podcast Delusional Diaries. Bunch of blah blah blah man excuses but essentially he wasn’t ready for anything serious. And such dry responses too very odd.
