This router consisted of seven cards.

(1) MDA card (main)
(2)MDA card (stand by)
(3) IOM card
(4)CPM card (main)
(5)CPM card (stand by)
(6) PSU card (main)
(7) PSU card (stand by)

Note: The difference between main and standby card is as if one fails other becomes active.
نوٹ : main اور stand by میں فرق یہ ھے جب ایک کارڈ خراب ھو تو دوسرا active کر دیا جاتا ھے ۔۔۔
MDA card ( Media dependent Adaptor)
This card provides physical connectivity to Ports through sfp and we connect our fibers through it .It gives us 100 Gbs data performance on basis of 10GE,40GE,100GE..
As per Shown in this picture MDA provides us physical and electrical connectivity as well .

Electrical connectivity : If ethernet cable is connected in Module then it is called electrical connectivity.

Optical connectivity: If fibers are connected in sfp module it is a kind of optical connectivity.

اس کارڈ میں فائبر کو physical connectivity مھیا کی جاتی ھے SFP اور XFP module لگائے جاتے ھیں ports میں جن سے فائبر کو connect کیا جاتا ھے یہ100Gbs XFPکے حساب سے ڈیٹا پرفارمنس 10GE ,40GE ,100GE کی interfaces port کو مھیا کر سکتا ھے ۔۔
نوٹ : نیچے دی گئ تصویر میں بآسانی آپ دیکھ سکتے ھیں فایبر کی physical connectivity ان MDA card میں یہ اپکو optical connectivity بھی مھیا کرتا ھے اور Electrical or copper connectivity بھی دیتا ھے اگر module میں فایبر connected ھو تو یہ آپٹیکل connectivity ھے اور اگر Ethernet Connected ھو module میں تو یہ Electrical connectivity ھوئ۔۔۔
