Moon landing mission is one of the toughest space mission ever. Till today only 3 countries have been able to successfully execute moon landing missions. The list includes America, USSR(Russia), and China. Chandrayaan 2 is one such moon landing mission to be carried out by Indian space agency ISRO. The launch will be carried out by GSLV MK-III rocket on 22nd July from Sriharikota launch pad.
Earlier India carried out the Chandrayaan 1 mission in 2008, but it was not a moon landing mission. Chandrayaan 2 is a moon landing mission. The rocket in this mission will carry an orbiter, Vikram lander, and Pragyan rover.
