Kunefe, famous in the Hatay region and eaten with pleasure throughout Turkey, is one of the most popular desserts in traditional Turkish cuisine. Kunefé simply consists of two layers of Kadaïf dough also called "angel hair" with cheese between the two layers of kadayif. A feast of taste is experienced when ice cream or mascarpone cream is added alongside the künefe, which is one of the essentials of our tables with its crispy kadayıf, its cheese and its sorbet which are linked together.
📣 It is advisable to eat this dessert hot, because the cheese will harden as it cools. You can prepare it during the day and cook it after dinner in the evening.
The process of making künefe is actually not difficult at all. It's ready in about 15 minutes.

🔴Recipe:
150 g kadayif
150 gr cheese for kunefe or mozzarella
70 g melted butter

for the syrup:
1 glass of sugar
1 glass of water
a few drops of lemon

1 mold for kunefe 18 cm (for 3 people).
1 tablespoon of soft butter
