On this video we explain the most important parts of living on a sailing ship with other people.

Have you sailed on a tall ship before? If so, how was your experience different or similar to what we explain here?

How is it to join the crew of a sailing trip? Have you ever heard about sail training? Do you want to participate actively in an adventure sailing trip? Are you looking for hands-on sailing holidays? On Atyla you'll be able to experience all this. And on this video, we explain the details of how it works.

SAILING THE SHIP
Steer the helm, adjust the sails and
check the ship’s position on the chart.,
The ship sails day and night,
so we divide and do 4-hour watches,
The sunsets and sunrises are amazing!
Cooperate with the other adventurers
and use the permanent crew’s guidance
to practice and learn loads of sailing,
to challenge your body and your mind.

CHALLENGES
The experience is full of challenges
that can help you develop life skills
like teamwork, emotional intelligence,
resilience, communication and courage.

LIVING TOGETHER
On board you rarely do something alone:
During the trip, the ship is our home, so:
we all help the cook by setting the table,
serving food and washing the dishes,
weep the ship clean together,
we enjoy our meals with amazing views,
and connect with other adventurers.
There’s also always time to relax,
play chess or cards, take photos,
read a book, hang out on deck,
or maybe even dance and sing songs!

HARBOUR LIFE
Before leaving and after arriving,
you will spend some time in harbours.
It's a good time to explore the city
and get the ship ready for more sailing!

Each trip is different and unique.
Are you up for a challenge?
